    • If necessary, use the enclosed Anti-Seize High-Tech assembly paste for maintenance and when regularly disassembling parts.

    Cleaning: Clean with approved medical disinfectant wipes.

    Do not immerse.

  • Power Supply:

    The device may be powered by external DC battery packs (24–36 V). External batteries must comply with UN38.3 and have integrated BMS protection. Use only approved converters for grid-powered operation. Do not charge batteries while the light is in use.

    Batteries:

    Please read carefully the attached IFU from AFTERTECH S. A. S. the battery supplier. IMPORTANT Do not charge batteries while the light is in use.

    Battery Maintenance:

    Recharge each battery at least once every 3 months, even if unused. Store batteries between 10–25 °C in a dry location. Do not store batteries fully discharged. Do not leave batteries on the charger continuously for more than 24 hours. Replace battery if physical damage, swelling, or heat is detected.

    Tripod:

    Please read carefully the attached IFU from SIRUI USA LLC.

    IMPORTANT make sure two legs of the tripod are under the operation table and the supplied pouches are allways attached onto the center triangle of the tripod.

    Power Converter:

    Please read carefully the attached IFU from MASCOT ELECTRONICS AS the power Converter supplier.

  • Ensure you have a stable table available for easy assembly.

    Open the Rugged Case and identify all components.

    1. Remove and Prepare the STAR Unit

    Take out the STAR unit with the four attached lamps. The center lamp is movable—this is required for correct assembly. Place the STAR unit on your table with the connector facing upward.

    2. Set Up the Tripod

    Remove the tripod from the case. Open the leg hinge and extend the tripod to the desired height. Loosen the pan handle and bring it into a forward operating position. Remove the quick-release plate by loosening the side latch and pressing the red safety button while sliding the plate out. Ensure tripod is placed on stable ground before mounting the STAR unit.

    3. Attach the Quick-Release Plate to the STAR Unit

    Position the plate on the marked mounting point on the back of the STAR connector. Tighten the screw firmly using a coin or screwdriver. Ensure the plate is secure with no movement or wobble.

    4. Mount the STAR Unit on the Tripod

    Slide the plate (with STAR attached) back onto the tripod head. Move it to the forward-most position for balance. Secure it by tightening the screw on the right side next to the lever. For safety, attach the security clip to the knob screw of the tripod head. Make sure all bolts on all four lamps of the STAR unit (marked in red) are fully tightened.

    5. Attach the Power Pouches

    Take the converter pouch (right side in the case) and place it on one of the inner triangle tripod legs, facing the operating table. Remove the two battery pouches (left side in the case). Place one on an outer leg of the tripod. Place the second on the remaining leg.

    6. Connect Power

    You may power the system in two ways:

    A. Grid Power (recommended for continuous use). Use the AC/DC converters and connect them to the electrical grid.

    B. Battery Power (for remote or mobile use). Use fully charged battery packs. Attach all cables securely using the Velcro straps on the tripod. Tighten the cables near the tripod center to avoid accidental pulling.

    Do not charge batteries while the light is in use.

    7. Apply Sterile Covers

    Use the enclosed sterile covers for: The pan handle, and the large hinge on the left side of the tripod head.

    Storage Instructions

    Disconnect batteries and converters before storage. Return all parts to the Rugged Case in the same layout as delivered. Place the battery pouches back on the left side and the converter pouch on the right. Tuck any loose cables neatly into their respective pouches after placing the pouches into their compartments.

    Ensure the STAR unit, tripod, and accessories are seated correctly before closing the case.

  • Strömförsörjning:

    Batteriunderhåll:

    Ladda varje batteri minst en gång var tredje månad, även om det inte används. Förvara batterier mellan 10–25 °C på en torr plats. Förvara inte batterier helt urladdade. Låt inte batterier sitta kvar i laddaren längre än 24 timmar i sträck. Byt ut batteriet om fysisk skada, svullnad eller överhettning uppstår.

    Läs noggrant den bifogade bruksanvisningen från SIRUI USA LLC.

    VIKTIGT: Se till att två av stativets ben är placerade under operationsbordet och att de medföljande väskorna alltid är fästa på stativets centrala triangelsektion.

  • Se till att du har ett stabilt bord tillgängligt för enkel montering.

    Öppna den robusta transportväskan och identifiera alla komponenter.

    1. Ta ut och förbered STAR-enheten

    Ta ut STAR-enheten med de fyra monterade lamporna.

    Den centrala lampan är rörlig – detta krävs för korrekt montering.

    Placera STAR-enheten på bordet med kopplingsfästet vänt uppåt.

    2. Ställ upp stativet

    Ta ut stativet ur väskan.

    Öppna benlåset och fäll ut stativet till önskad höjd.

    Lossa panoreringshandtaget och för det till en framåtriktad arbetsposition.

    Ta bort snabbfästesplattan genom att lossa sidlåset och trycka in den röda säkerhetsknappen medan du skjuter ut plattan.

    Säkerställ att stativet står på stabil mark innan STAR-enheten monteras.

    3. Fäst snabbfästesplattan på STAR-enheten

    Placera plattan på den markerade monteringspunkten på baksidan av STAR-kopplingen. Dra åt skruven ordentligt med ett mynt eller en skruvmejsel.

    Kontrollera att plattan sitter stadigt utan rörelse eller glapp.

    4. Montera STAR-enheten på stativet

    Skjut tillbaka plattan (med STAR monterad) på stativhuvudet.

    För den till det främsta läget för optimal balans.

    Säkra den genom att dra åt skruven på höger sida bredvid spaken.

    För säkerhets skull: fäst säkerhetsklämman i skruvknoppen på stativhuvudet.

    Säkerställ att alla skruvar på samtliga fyra lampor i STAR-enheten (markerade i rött) är helt åtdragna.

    5. Fäst strömväskorna (pouches)

    Ta omvandlarväskan (höger sida i väskan) och placera den på ett av

    stativets inre triangelben – det ben som vetter mot operationsbordet.

    Ta därefter de två batteriväskorna (vänster sida i väskan).

    Placera en på ett av stativets yttre ben.

    Placera den andra på det återstående benet.

    6. Anslut strömförsörjningen

    Systemet kan drivas på två sätt:

    A. Nätdrift (rekommenderas för kontinuerlig användning)

    Använd AC/DC-omvandlarna och anslut till elnätet.

    B. Batteridrift (för mobilt eller avlägset bruk) Använd fulladdade batteripack.

    Fäst alla kablar säkert med kardborrebanden på stativet.

    Dra åt kablarna nära stativets centrum för att undvika oavsiktligt ryck.

    Ladda inte batterierna medan lampan är i bruk.

    7. Applicera sterila skydd

    Använd de medföljande sterila skydden för: panoreringshandtaget

    det stora gångjärnet på vänster sida av stativhuvudet

    Förvaringsinstruktioner

    Koppla från batterier och omvandlare före förvaring.

    Lägg tillbaka alla delar i transportväskan i samma ordning som vid leverans.

    Placera batteriväskorna på vänster sida och omvandlarväskan på höger sida.

    Stoppa in lösa kablar i respektive väska efter att väskorna lagts i sina fack.

    Se till att STAR-enheten, stativet och tillbehören ligger korrekt placerade innan väskan stängs.
